Description
This introductory sewing class focuses on developing the fundamental skills needed to create apparel. Emphasizing the core techniques from Sewing Fundamentals, students will learn hand sewing, how to read and work with patterns, and the proper use of pressing and steaming tools. The course also includes instruction on how to use a sewing machine confidently and safely. Students will apply their new skills through a variety of small projects, such as a tote bag.
